Caring for Cats in Need.

At Lancaster and Morecambe Cat Rescue, we are passionate about nurturing, protecting, and rehoming cats while promoting responsible ownership and compassionate care. Our team of dedicated volunteers, based in the Lancaster and Morecambe area, is committed to providing support to cats in need and matching them with loving forever homes.

Our dedicated volunteers bring extensive experience in cat adoption, maintain strong partnerships with our local veterinary team, and provide expert guidance on caring for cats and kittens.

Our dedicated volunteers are highly skilled in rehabilitating cats that require special care, whether for medical needs or behavioural challenges.

We also provide support by collecting deceased cats from the local area and scanning stray or injured cats for microchips to help reunite them with their owners.

All our cats and kittens receive a comprehensive veterinary check-up, their initial vaccinations (at minimum), and are microchipped. They are treated for fleas and worms using vet-approved products, and if they’re of age, they are also neutered. For those adopting younger kittens, we provide guidance on when to neuter and can assist with information about obtaining a voucher to help cover the cost, if needed.
